Apollo 9 Docked SPS Burn Question...And One Totally Unrelated Question

Does it happen only over that area on Earth? To me, it looks like some glitch in rendering sun reflection over the water.

[NASSP 7] Crew egress on splashdown

Hello, Is is possible to egress the crew after splashdown and show them on the recovery "raft"? I believe this was possible on NASSP 6, a century ago ;) . But is this possible on NASSP 7? Then, how to do it?

    FDAI rate indicators correct?

o_Oo_O I don´t see the logic or understand FDAI rate indications, if the rate indicators are wrong in all the way around. I think It´s more logical, easier to follow, and easier to understand, in the way they are currently implemented. They show in wich direction your rates are going. So if...

    Question about Apollo 8 P22

This scenario is after the first P22, wich I think went good. Both LOI-1 and LOI-2 went good. I´ll do V82 before each P22, to check if my state vector is correct, and if it´s not I´ll uplink a new state vector from RTCC MFD, as that fixes my problem. Very promising displays you show there for...

    Question about Apollo 8 P22

Lots if info to read on that thread! Verb 93 didn´t fix my issue, but as stated there, performing a CSM state vector update through RTCC MFD fixed my AGC and my P22. The only question that I have now is, as my AGC locks up a short time before the 421 alarms, at a random moment and to solve...

    Question about Apollo 8 P22

Hello I have some issues on the attached quicksave. (Orbiter 2010 P1 - NASSP 7) Around GET 78:00:00 my AGC hangs, it´s on P00 and the COMP ACVY light comes on, and remains on. 10 seconds before 78:05:00 I do a Verb 96 as I was reading this thread, and everything seems to return to normality...

    SSU Questions thread

Are you talking about Orbiter Betas? I think this behaviour is perfectly normal, as SSU is not even released for Orbiter 2016 (stable) yet, only a nightly has been released, and one for an alpha version.

    Support NASSP: P23 Program Explanation

Hello, here the promised videos. On the first one, I show a P23 execution using earth landmarks, having into account the observations from @thermocalc . I load the coordinates from the flightplan: 28.876ºN 56.292ºW Alt 000.01 I run, P23 2+1 times, as per the flighplan. (2 sets and 1 set) On the...

    Support NASSP: P23 Program Explanation

Well, first of all the video I posted is not intended to be a tutorial, it´s an illustration on my experience on running P23 with earth landmark. At F 05 70 (step 4) I entered R1 15 and R2 110 because as per the flightplan we have to use Star 15, Earth landmark 10, and as per the word G&C...

    Support NASSP: P23 Program Explanation

Yeah, there it´s requesting the 3D maneuver to the crew. But what I was asking there, is if that is correct or if instead it should show F 06 89 with the landmark coordinates, as per the word G&C Checklist.

Hello. I am practising Apollo 8 procedures, using Nassp 7. I am having difficulties when it comes to perform the first P23´s using Earth Landmark 10. On this video, I show you that I do all the steps correctly, as I understand. For some reason, after entering the codes, the AGC switches...

    [Nassp 7] Panel 601

Yeah, but the thing is that the hatch is open at the moment that you do this step on the Backup Crew Prelaunch Checklist: On this picture I found, panel 600 is visible, it´s over (and behind) the CMP´s head, but I don´t know where 601 is... and neither 600 on NASSP:
