ORBITER-FORUM will be temporarily closed at 2026-07-23 18:00 UTC while we complete some OF maintenance tasks. The amount of downtime is expected to take up to one hour, but probably less.
Just as a heads-up, this is still seems an issue. Win11 sees the Stick alright, but Orbiter won't show it. I did try the latest dev build from April: https://github.com/orbitersim/orbiter/releases/tag/latest
Never having played the games, I wasn't sure what to expect from the Devil May Cry show on Netflix. I absorbed a few things by internet osmosis, so I was at least expecting fun gory action scenes with cheesy one-liners and kick-ass sound. It fell a bit short on the one-liners but delivered on...
The US financial system might be a more critical system running on Cobol, and much harder to replace when push comes to shove (ever completely replaced a system in production that might bankrupt your company if it stopped for a day? Me neither, luckily...).

Welcome to Huanggong, the massively overengineered shipyard from which the Huangshan union intends to conquer the solar system.
"Launcher Agnostic" sounds like something very desirable on paper, but also something that may be frought with a million little unforeseeable details that in the end it make one launcher so much preferable that you'd have been better off designing for it from the get-go...
Doesn't matter so much which side of the spacecraft faces earth. The atmospheric resistance comes from the direction of its velocity vector, not "down", so ultimately it only matters at what angle your heatshield is aligned to that, not what orieantation it has to the earths surface.
