ORBITER-FORUM will be temporarily closed at 2026-07-23 18:00 UTC while we complete some OF maintenance tasks. The amount of downtime is expected to take up to one hour, but probably less.
The sRGB mode should be ok. Over time your white point might drift and need adjustment, but there are usually RGB controls for that.
White point can be set visually by matching an overcast sky, as clouds are usually white ;)
Laptop screens have viewing angle issues, but its possible to correct...
I'd bet on parallel worlds, because that solves the distance problem.
Multiple parallel Earths would be coplanar, so you don't need to cross interstellar distances (and don't require alien life).
You'd simply "materialize" on the same place on a parallel Earth. And that Earth can be almost like...
Looking at your animation you have a single 34º rotation.
I think you need 2 animations:
» Rotation from from 0º to -11.7º (used when trim values are negative - )
» Rotation from 0 to 22.5º (used when trim values are positive + )
With these animations, trim ranges will match animation states...
All modern (last 5 years) displays should come reasonably well calibrated from factory and target sRGB
If not, there are controls on the graphic drivers that allow you to adjust gamma. Don't think we need an Orbiter specific adjustment.
Seems correct. Range is 34.2 degrees.
Scale is displayed in %.
0% is -11.7º and 100% is +22.5º. The indicator at 34% corresponds to 0º (the Trail position).
It goes from 0% to 34% when the angle goes from -11.7º to 0º
(and of course, from 34% to 100% when the angle goes from 0º to 22.5º)
Earth life has evolved based on the conditions here. You won't find it elsewhere.
So these types of studies don't offer anything new.
You need to look for something different on other planets, like unexplained chemical processes.
On Mars that requires drilling and analyzing the water. Just...
Not to undermine Belgium, but Portugal was let down by the manager. Trusting luck is so 1990s, football has moved beyond that.
One win in 4 games makes this the worse Euro cup ever. I'm not happy at all  !
Now I think I'll follow France! Great players there (y)
Did a quick search for RCS panel photos.
This is from the Full Fuselage Trainer (name lights )
This is from STS-51-F (no name lights)
This is Discovery at decommission (no name lights).
So no name lights is OK :)
Very hard group with 3 top teams. Great that all 3 passed (Germany, France, Portugal).
The knockout phase is a bit unbalanced:
Germany's "branch" looks more accessible. :)
Looks good, very clean. Nice work!
To have status lights going on and off you can use animations.
Draw the status panel unlit. Add each lit status light as a separate 3D group behind the panel. (lit / unlit are just light/dark texture variations)
When a light is on move the lit version...
This is way of topic, but let me add that being familiar with the language is important on these maters.
I only understood the cruelty of Nazi persecution when I saw the French version of their books, posters, signs, etc. (displayed on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Army_Museum_(Paris) )
This is...
