No, unfortunately any planetary textures created before Orbiter 2016 are completely incompatible with later versions as the entire system was changed then. Orbiter 2016 was the version that introduced the current tree system for planetary textures, before it was all baked into a single *.tex...
I originally posted this on the Orbiter Github issues page(issue#592), but to give it a bit of a wider exposure, I have also decided to post it here, as an add-on request:
"This is a request to update the current Earth nightlight texture with a more accurate and recent one based on the NASA...
Have you pushed in the circuit breakers for the RMS CCTV on panel R14? There's three of them, row E, RMS CAMR. Then on panel A7U, under CAMERA POWER, RMS to ON. Use the PORT RMS CAMERA switch on the same panel to switch between the elbow camera and the end effector camera.
No, it can't. Juno doesn't have the delta-v to do it, no operational spacecraft does. It's just one of Avi Loeb's crazy ideas and he doesn't know the Juno spacecraft (main engine offline since February 2017 when helium valves in the propulsion system malfunctioned preventing anymore main engine...
All Mars landers until MSL in 2012 relied on simple open-loop guidance. MSL was the first to use Terrain Relative Navigation (TRN, pronounced "terrain") that allowed it to target a precise landing spot. Until TRN was demonstrated, the actual landing site was unknown until one of the orbiters...
That's because everything that has to do Orbiter with is ancient! D3D9Client is still compatible with the default graphics client (using DirectX 7, first released in December 1999) written by Martin back in 1999/2000, which predates the first flight of the so called "glass cockpit" of the Space...
Ctrl-Q has always been the key-combo to quit the sim, has never changed. You can change this by editing the keymap.cfg, it's just a standard text file, so any text editor can open it.
Noticed that the MPS isn't following the throttle profile set in the ILOADS. It's a problem with the low throttle setting, it won't go to whatever you set it to and is only throttling down to 72, rather than 67 or 65. This can be most easily seen with STS-1 where the bottom of the 1st stage...
Getting rid of the obsolete PanelA7A3 files and mentions fixed the C2065 errors mentioned in the issue. The one other thing is that SSV_VAB complains that it can't find lua.lib, can I remove it from the Additional Dependencies of the project?
