Spacecraft Soyuz 7K for Orbiter 2016

There may be many reasons why... Locally, I verified 1.2 solidly works just like I verified that 1.3 solidly does not. One thing to check first thing first: Soyuz and Soyuz 7K addons collide on SoyuzMissions file. Soyuz 7K overrides the one supplied by Soyuz, adding its missions directly into...

For posterity: fix (or rather workaround) is reported in Soyuz 7K thread.

Spacecraft Soyuz 7K for Orbiter 2016

Hello, igel is here! I've temporarily published a previous version of Soyuz release, 1.2. This will buy you time till I am able to publish the next release of Soyuz along with other addons of VesselM family. Version 1.3 will NOT work with third-party payload in Orbiter 2016, causing CTD...

    Soyuz v1.2 (previous version) 2021-09-05

This is a temporary addon release, to publish the previous version as a workaround  for the bug introduced in the latest 1.3 version, located here. Version 1.3 is still good for standalone use. The problem - CTD - comes when trying to attach any third-party payload to the rocket. Some addons -...

    OHM Soyuz v1.0

Thanks! Once back, I'll try myself this 7K addon and its scenarios, and let's see what needs to be done, depending on what I might find...

    OHM Soyuz v1.0

That's what I thought as most likely. Too late for me to try it myself today. It references my latest version, 1.3... Is there a chance the author just updated version to the latest, without testing? I strongly suspect it should not work with 1.3 ( a bug causes CTD). But in any case, this will...

    OHM Soyuz v1.0

Quite possible. Here https://www.orbithangar.com/showAddon.php?id=0bb66462-d9cc-4f68-95f3-482bc319a5c7 is the latest one. But I don't know which exactly 7K addon or scenario pack you use, and how its scenarios and missions are maintained. Also, I suspect that you may need and older 1.2 version...

    OHM Soyuz v1.0

I've seen this issue (detached vessel appearing a few hundred meters away from the parent) with 2010 code running in Orbiter 2016. This one one of the reasons addon versions had to be separated into different packages. Are you sure you are using 2016 version of Soyuz launcher? The other...

    OHM Soyuz v1.0

Well, the very idea of having the payload in place is to be able to use Soyuz (or Proton, or R-9 or any other R-7 version) to launch any payload available in Orbiter, not just the vessels supplied with these rockets. This ability was there, and now broken in the latest versions for 2016. An easy...

    OHM Soyuz v1.0

I found the problem. Unfortunately, this is a bug in the new version, in the code that is strictly specific only for Orbiter 2016, that causes problems with non-VM vessels - like ShuttlePB in this case. Orbiter 2010 should still be OK, but for 2016, it may be needed to use the previous versions...

Thanks for the interest! I'll have a closer look later today. I too suspect mission or scenario format changes here.

OHM VesselM Pack: Historical Spaceports, R-9, First in Space, Vostok, Soyuz, Proton, Collectors

Thanks! I already noticed this in Proton addon. These paths are generated by build script, so the problem should be common for all addons in the family. Luckily, the eventual fix will also be in single place for all of them.

    OHM Soyuz v1.0

Not quite: if he is asking about Soyuz (not Zond) from simply slightly higher altitude, no need for double dip - just regular reentry will do. If for Zond - it will help to look at most recent Proton release, where there is indeed a scenario substituting Zond-8 inert bolerplate with flyable...

    OHM Soyuz v1.0

Just replying quickly (did not try), but I think the following may help. If I remember correctly, my simple landing semi-automatic autopilot simply burns for fixed number of seconds, without calculating any following trajectory. So, if its initial altitude is different, so will be the...

OHM Vostok v1.1 (for external graphic clients)

Thanks for the interest in Vostok,! I double-checked my archive. Vostok was first released in v1.0 in early 2011. This means, it was developed in then-fresh Orbiter 2010. I don't ever remember trying it with Orbiter 2006 - but I am pretty sure it should not run in 2006, because it is built on...

OHM Proton (added to a family of Vostok, Soyuz, First in Space, R-9 Russian addons)

OK, I think I have it too in 2016 - in case you've meant "Briz M" (which is technically 4th stage) when saying "3rd stage". In my case, 3rd stage separates OK, but trajectory is lower by a few dozens km than it should be, and velocity vector points below horizon. Then Briz M does not stand a...

OHM Proton (added to a family of Vostok, Soyuz, First in Space, R-9 Russian addons)

Hard to tell... Can you give some more details: is it in Orbiter 2010 or 2016? particular scenario where it happens (just one will be enough) does 3rd stage reenter while still burning? Or does payload reenter later, before reaching its orbital burn point? Once I have this, I'll test it on my...

OHM Vostok v1.1 (for external graphic clients)

Thanks for reporting! Indeed, a small bug in scenario. The fix is easy, you can do int yourself, if you want: the _Baser vessel declaration (the last one in scenario) should be changed to spaceports_Traveller:spaceports\_Baser because it belongs to Spaceports addon, not to Vostok addon. I have...
