Document Information: A Space Shuttle to ISS Scenario Tutorial for a nominal launch and rendezvous for docking with ISS(ZARYA) using no external addons besides Sound 5.0. This tutorial must be used with the scenario provided in order to view the same conditions to conduct the same procedures...
My "Load TLE" data button is greyed out in ScnEditorTLE. Anyone know what might be causing this? Does this tool work in Orbiter 2016?
EDIT: I found out why. So to make this work for me I had to:
1. Create a scenario that does not have an MJD date under the BEGIN ENVIRONMENT section. So I copied...
polaris149Tiberius submitted a new addon:
Autopilot 1.7 MFD Manual - This is the difficult to find manual that normally accompanies the Autopilot 1.7 MFD
Read more about this addon...
Found this by searching for a time due to a previous post that linked to a bad download page on these forums. Searched the internet and found it.
The manual is for the excellent Autopilot 1.7 MFD by Rudolf Bumm.
It is a complete user manual of how to use the amazing features of this MFD and...
As to this, I am not sure that this may be your issue but in the Attitude RCS MFD, you must disable or "suspend" your choice of attitudes or it WILL deplete your fuel holding that attitude. You can choose your Base mode "BAS" and rotation to +15 degrees, then "GO" to hold the attitude, conduct...
There used to be an MFD called Timmer MFD for Orbiter 2010. I have been looking for a download. If anyone has the zip file I would be willing to host it on my webserver for others to download. UPDATE!! FOUND IT!!

Hi Don,
I have made a scenario that is the same exact conditions as the Orbiter 2016 tutorial scenario: "Space Shuttle to ISS" found in ..\Orbiter 2016\Scenarios\2016 Edition\ folder but I have stripped the scripting and autopilot automated launch and rendezvous out.
It is without the script...
Hi gents, I too am re-working this tutorial to become aware of how to rendezvous manually in Orbiter. As to your first question Don, I also see my tutorial as being unfinished ending at the point where it says:
"For that purpose, we need to record the ISS's radius distance when it passes our...
Ok so it turns out that there was a lot differences in the new scenario. I decided to edit my new scenario to be exactly like the original minus the changes to the camera sections that I wanted and saved it. This worked!! Apparently when you save a quick save file, Orbiter changes this...
Yes. The default or original scenario works.
I noticed among other changes the new saved file shows that the STS-101 section as "Orbiting Earth". The original STATUS is "Landed Earth".

Absolutely. I will post both files. The original and the new saved file.

Hi All. I have been working on the Default Atlantis platform in Orbiter 2016 and want to edit the scenario (via the GUI), such as changing the time, camera additions, etc. I am using a default Orbiter 2016 scenario: "Atlantis satellite Launch.scn" located in ..\Orbiter2016\Scenarios\Space...
Oops
Oops! That's right I forgot that. The zip file does contain the raw files. I have been using the installer for so long I forgot about that.
Still I like having 2006. Some MFDs and Add-ons wont run on 2010, and it works with older versions of Windows as well as the newer versions, and...
Yes alot of NASSP 7 snapshots are there of course, AND even NASSP 6.4.3 are able to be found, however, I didn't see NASSP 5.x there, or NASSP 4.x or NASSP 3.x.
By the way the specific location to previous beta releases of NASSP 7 and other important files are located here.
BUT YES... from what...
The reason is because those older versions of NASSP are disappearing. So are some valuable MFDs and working modules. I have about 3 terabytes of storage so I am trying to keep kind of a repository of Orbiter stuff. I am also testing NASSP on various systems, and NASSPs functionality. I am also...
The advantage is that Orbiter 2006 doesn't use an installer to install it to the registry, AND that makes it portable, AND it works with older versions of Windows as well as the newer versions, AND most importantly it works with NASSP 6.4.3.
I don't think I have to emphasize the clear...
