This is a Tower Gate add-on to complement the RTF Stargate add-on.
When gating from a space gate to a ground gate you will often bounce into never, never land because you hit the ground on the other side of the gate at very high speed. To help solve this I made a 1000m high tower with a Star Gate on top. This should afford you enough room to gain control before hitting the ground. That is if you are a good enough pilot.
Although you could gate a UMMU to it I wouldnât suggest it because it is a long fall to the ground. It also wasnât designed with people in mind so there is no way to get to the ground.
The tower is a vessel that can be placed anywhere.
The included scenario file is the Stinger Challenge with the tower added nearby. If you add it to another scenario donât forget that you need to add both the tower and attach the Stargate. Use the included scenario to see how that is done.
It should go without saying but I will. You need the Star Gates installed and if you want to try the included scenario you will need the Stinger.
