As Apollo neared its culmination, various NASA contractors sought to chart the U.S. space program's post-Apollo future. in 1968 NASA's Intergrated Program Plan (IPP) called for permenant outposts in Earth and lunar orbit and a manned mission to Mars by November of 1978. Many elements of the IPP got well into the design and test phases before post Apollo budget cuts forced NASA to abandon them. One of these elements was the "Reusable Nuclear Shuttle", or "RNS".
The specific vessel modeled is Boeing's "RNS Phase II Hybrid" design from 1971. Boeing's RNS was to be lofted as the upper stage of a Saturn V or other HLV and would have been capable of transporting up to 50 metric tonnes of payload to/from Lunar orbit.

Note: This vessel is rather sluggish in comparison to the stock orbiter vessels and this may cause issues with certain autopilots (Specifically IMFD's autoburn). Before you complain, please keep in mind that this is in accordance with Boeing's design documents. I strongly reccomend the use of Burn Time Calculator MFD as manuevering capabilities and rate of acceleration are woefully limited when fully laden.
