This is the legacy DeltaGlider MkIII from the Orbiter 031217 SDK samples updated and re-compiled against the Orbiter 2005 SDK.
This is not simply a re-named DLL, but a complete re-build from the 031217 sources.
I have thoroughly tested this build in Orbiter 2005 with 050216 patches and have not had any problems with performance. This build also works great with LazyD's new LandMFD.
The test machine for this build has the following specs:
Windows 2000 Professional Operating System SP4,
DirectX 9.0c,
Intel Pentium 4 2.6 GHz CPU,
512 Mb DDR RAM,
Radeon 9250 256 Mb DDR Graphics.
This is a stand-alone add-on and will not overwrite any default Orbiter 2005 files. Please note that this disclaimer only applies to those files contained in the Orbiter 2005 base distribution and 050216 patches. I can not guarantee it's compatibility with other third party add-ons as I do not have every add-on installed on my system to test. NOTE: THIS ADD-ON IS DESIGNED ONLY FOR USE WITH ORBITER 2005 WITH 050216 PATCHES APPLIED. IT WILL NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY WITH OLDER VERSIONS OF ORBITER!!
The scenarios contained in the DeltaGlider MkIII directory will work with a "vanilla" Orbiter install (i.e. 050116 base with 050216 patches). The Pluto-Charon scenarios require my Pluto-Charon add-on v2.0.
050712 Minor Update -
I discovered that the hi-res textures contained in the initial distribution were over-writing textures for Dan Steph's DeltaGlider III or textures from the Orbiter 050116 hi-res texture pack on some systems. As a result I have removed them from the distribution. The add-on will use the default lo-res textures from the Orbiter 050116 base package. If you desire hi-res textures, and you don't already have DeltaGlider III, you will need to either download and install DeltaGlider III or extract the textures dgmk3_2.dds, dgmk3_3.dds, dgmk3_4.dds, and dgmk3_5.dds from the Orbiter 050116 hi-res texture pack.
