This MFD is the result of my learning my way around the Orbiter SDK. It may have some utility for others, so here it is.
The MFD collects and displays atmospheric conditions relative to a target vessel. It is possible to select a vessel other than the focus vessel as a data collection platform so that probes can be simulated with the collected data displayed in an MFD at some remote location.
For vessels with their own dll, there are better ways to implement this, but for SpacecraftN.dll based vessels this provides a way to simulate atmospheric probes without any coding.
