If we consider the dimensions of the milkyway, the current position of the probe and how long it is travelling already, it's actually scary how big our galaxy is, let alone the universe. It takes 230 million years for our solar system to orbit the center of the milkyway once...

Also, that we still receive data shows that space is really empty. There is nothing really between the probe and us. But the same comes into my mind when I look at the stars at clear nights. The light has traveled so far and just enters my eyes. Amazing.

46 years and they didn't even nearly reach the oort cloud. When they do, the children of my children and even their children will be dead already, if I had children 👀

And it all started by making fire to process food, after at least 5 mass extinctions. Our planet is a miracle :hailprobe:
