I am looking at using the Deltaglider EX more as my primary mode of transportation but don't like the cockpit it comes with; any way of changing the cockpit view to copy that of the space shuttle or to modify the cockpit ? (It's kinda empty and boring right now)

Also, what do I have to change in coding to attach the DeltaGliderEx to the "Resolve" booster stack ?
I know somebody already attached it to the Jupiter III booster but that looks a little "off balance " to me.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

In addition,

If I look at Flight simulator it is fairly easy to develope a "stock" panel that can then be used with any plane you desire simply by adding it to that specific plane.

Why can't somebody develope a "stock" cockpit that can then be used ( by re-naming the texture and such) in add-ons were they did a half-ass job of providing a cockpit ( Resolve, deltagliderEX, etc, etc).
We've got several great planes out there that fly and look wonderfull on the outside but frankly suck when you are in the cockpit and thus make me hesitant in using them simply because I don't get that "pilot" feeling when i'm in the cockpit.

Orbiter's not set up that way. A 2d panel requires a custom .dll with every switch, knob and gauge painstakingly coded via C++.
I agree that would be a great feature for a future Orbiter version but it ain't gonna happen with this one.

Flight Simulator does not allow the flexibility that Orbiter allows, therefore you can have things like "stock-panels". That "half-ass" job you talk about takes days to complete, out of add-on developer's own time, and add-on developers do this work out of the goodness of their heart, without any fee. Be a little more grateful, I urge you to start making your own add-ons to see how incredibly cumbersome some things can be (such as creating animated panels).

Do you mean 2d panels or 3d pits?

3d pits take a long time to make, you can spend as nearly long on those as you do the outside if you want it to look nice, and they are apparently a ***** to code.

it's nice when there's a VC view at all in these things, even if it's bare bones, i'd rather have that than nothing.
