There are two ways to do a virtual cockpit. You can either make it so that you have a view from within the spacecraft, or you can get a view from inside a totally different mesh. If you use the second method, you could indeed make it bigger on the inside than the outside.
(I haven't tried the addon by the way)

Yes it is me... but While I like Dr. Who (and still fancy his grandaughter) and get great pleasure from Orbiter I have misgivings about mixing the two.
Fine models, nice texture your choice and good for a laugh.... all of this is true ..... but I don't know ..... something just does not sit right with me.
