Right now, since only the first month of school is over, we're still learning the basics, and right now we're learning.... Limits!!!!

Useless maths...
nothing like having to learn the long way of figuring out the derivities of a function, then for the professor to say, "Well you can forget about that now, because here is the shortcut."
That's exactly how i learned how to uee matrices, we learned some page long way to solve and graph a certain problem then she says "plug this into your calculator... this way."
Well right, I mean I learned matrices in high school, and they were easy. Then you get to college and start doing vector calculus, etc. and it gets a little harder. Then you do eigenvalues, and much, much more. Before you know it, matrices aren't so fun any more  . But, they are extremely useful.
The funny thing is my seventh grade math teacher said that matrices are completely useless. Yeah, she wasn't the smartest person I've met.Meh, never said they were fun, but I do agree, they are useful.
But you did read them, right? :tiphat:After I registered for the forum, there is that rule page that you have to accept before you can post. You have to wait 10 seconds before you can click "accept," which has a countdown timer. I pressed "T". Nothing happened, at which point I realized the flaw in my logic.
