Vessel Commerical LEO destinations and other space stations

I got her to launch on the SLS Cargo. I can remake the fairing with the Starlab logo.

I wondering the solar tracking is wrong. I think the solar panels should be more facing the sun?

Looks great! 👍

For the launch scenario: Looking at the screenshots, I ask myself if a heads-down orientation during launch might be more feasible?
It would need a wide cradle to support the outer walls of the habitat cylinder. This may be more stable than to balance the big habitat on the smaller utility module.

Oh.
Here is the latest. The VC has the interior views.

I think might be difficult to change the direction of the Starlab for the launch. Of course for the launch got to have the SLS,...

Not sure if we have a Starship cargo version

Looking better every time!

I tested it on a Starship, replacing the 50k Sat. Only the solar panel holder would need to be retracted closer to the body, otherwise the Starlab fits quite snuggly.

Why does this remind me of an old James Bond movie?

So the radiator panels are sticking out. CTRL 8 solar panels and CTRL 7 radiator

I can redo the panels. Just not sure what needs to happen. I can have the panels retract closer so that the inner rod hits the outer ring on the aft section.

FYI. going to be out for 1 week. So not expect any changes

On the starship. The starlab seems too long? I can redo the external mesh so that the cargo is not seen on launch? Maybe lower the Starlab to clear the rad/solar panels. I added beacons and a light to the front.

I can add the vc iss girl.

I wonder if starlab with the the propulsion unit was altogether.

Might is about 8 meters in diameter and 19.8 long.

Starship cargo area is :Starship V1's payload bay, measuring 17 m (56 ft) tall by 8 m (26 ft) in diameter

OK. We knew that the Starlab is 8x8. I will adjust the aft area so as to fit. I will remove the cargo and make it showable or not.

Maybe the Starlab is launched in a compact configuration, and outside attachments are fitted once in orbit.
Solar panels and heat radiators will deploy automatically.
Other attachments could be stored around the propulsion module and then be installed at their final position either by a manipulator arm, or by EVAs of the commissioning crew.
