Falcons fan. Hoping for a less embarrassing season...

You have no room to talk. I have been through hell and stared the devil in his evil eyes, and his name is Russell Wilson.

silently cries into his Broncos merchandise

Broncos? Pffft. No shame there. As a St. Louis Rams fan, I believe I have you defeated sir!

There are people in my area that are still bitter about the Rams...

Completely understandable, and they should be.

I was bitter for a looong time about the way the Colts left Baltimore in the middle of the night, under the cover of darkness, to come to our state. I used to tell Colts fans I wish their team would go back to Baltimore

When I became a Rams fan, I realized I kinda had to let go of that, otherwise I'd be a hypocrite.

Not all is well in Gaza, but sometimes you have light in the tunnel.

That upload rate seems disproportionately low. I have the same or better upload rate with half the download rate.

On todays date, the first ESA satellite COS-B was launched... 1975

There should be a Neil deGrasse Tyson Space Telescope (NDTST)

He is not dead yet, give him some time to cool down before naming things after him.

(In Germany, getting things named after you and statues build means, that you are dead or should at least retire from public - it means really bad luck to you)

When Benoit B. Mandelbrot used to be asked what the "B" in his name stood for, he would reply:

The B? It stands for Benoit B. Mandelbrot!

Interestingly, his surname also meant "almond bread"...

"Benoit B. Almond Bread" has a nice ring to it. Or at least I think so... :) I've known many people who think my sense of humor is off.

The news of the day in Germany: Miroslav Klose has retired from the German national mens football team.

(Forget Donetsk, Erdogan, ISIS or the tornado in Hessia....)

I just saw the Red Dwarf episode "parallel universe". Must be about the most genious piece of social criticism I saw since that DS9 episode in which Sisko ended up in the 60ies.
