News Qantas reports $256m loss and cancels plane orders

The latter is much more interesting than the former. They had big plans for those planes.

They were hoping to cut a lot of costs with them like fuel and maintenance (Unions didn't like that bit).

Will be interesting to see what the result is next year.
 
The thing I find intersting, is they will cancel that order for lower growth. I would think Australia is a prime source for air travel?

It is, and Qantas is already the largest carrier.

I believe these planes were going to Jetstar (Who use the A321) or replacing the 767s (Used on the domestic routes that need more capacity than a 737)
