We had a pair of Bear-F's buzz the New Jersey back in '88 (thats 1988 before any of you dudes comment (grin)). They are really big, they flew close enough for everybody who had a camera to get some good pictures. I could see members of the flight crew waving, a few of our guys mooned them. Ahhh, good times.

OK, revisiting the "hot anime chicks" subject, after cleaning out my CD cabinet I can across some Dreamcast games. That Kasumi, she's something else (and a red-head). I know Yaya Han has cosplayed as Chun-Li (she kinda famous for that one) I wonder if she's got any Kasumi pictures around? Standby Google!

Oh no. Back in "the day" it was nothing for them to rig our ships and for us to do the same to theirs. Any time we did underway replenishment it wasn't unusual for our "shadows" to throttle up and nearly join into the formation to see how we did it.

From what I'd been told is that the Soviets routinely refueled at sea, but slowed to a crawl, we however did it at about 12 knots, which is pretty quick when you think of two several thousand ton warships maintaining a close distance of about 30 yards. On one occasion The USS Sacremento has a ship on her starboard side, us on the port side while we were fueling another ship off our port side. I wish we'd had a helo in the air for photo ops... Anyway, I don't know if the story about the Soviets refueling is true or not, might be just a myth. The one time I had time to ask, was post-Glasnost (spring, '92) with a bunch of (now) Russian sailors at a bar in Aarhus Denmark, and we were too busy getting drunk to talk shop.

Back to *topic*, you must live next to the Capitole to have optical fiber, I must have to pass though Hertzian to have a good 15Mbit/s connection speed. (I used to have only 500Kbit/s, witch was a pain to download textures)

Yes, but at least incinerating him on reentry would bring a new twist to the usual hate schemes people come up with.

I'm not a fan of him, but I do find it hard to understand why people hate him this much.

The problem isn't with his sound techniques or even his target fans (which I think most would agree that his sound is exceptional), but rather with his recent attitude with his singing career (I heard that he almost gave up all sound training? :facepalm and his behavior (which, from the limited news stories I have seen, is beyond childish).

Then again, it may be something to do with taste after all.... (I can't stand the rap mania of recent years, or how the Japanese AKB48 can actually be popular outside of Japan when they can't even dance like the Koreans do! )
