So, long sotry short, we apllied to a local festival called Vičstock, that happens every year. Its a pretty big deal, at least for us, since usually it's atended by 2000-3000 people. It would be a great step if we managed to get in and play, so I'm asking YOU to help us!

Just open this link and "like" the picture. No strings attached, anyone with facebook can do it.
I would be eternaly grateful for all likes that come our way! I hope I can count on my fellow orbiters to help!

I thank you all in advance!

forgive me, but isnt it fair that we get to listen to the music before we support it?

get a soundcloud account going like ours so we can hear it

would be great to hear another orbinauts tunes!

Next time you want endorsement for you and your products, please do it in a fashion where people understand what they are endorsing.
I'd love to help a fellow Orbinaut (btw your 3 threads record suggests that you are not), but the link you provided just makes no sense. "Like" on a PIC that's about a band!? And when I click on the link I get this:
"This content is currently unavailable".
Could I listen a little bit of what you have to offer, before I decide?

Ah, the beauty of internet votings...

My band just "won" one of those for a gig in germany (best three bands in the voting got admitted). Suffice it to say that it basically turned into a race of who could create email addresses the fastest...

Anyways, yes, it would be nice to have something to listen to even in these cases. Shame to the festival organizors for not posting soundclips along with the votings. There is exactly ONE reason for an organisor to make an internet voting instead of a jury decicison (since an internet voting pretty much ensures that you get the bands that cheat best), and that is to drive up traffic on the homepage. Looks like they're not even willing to expend a bit of webspace for that... Still, I'm sure the OP has something on myspace somewhere, so posting a link to that would be nice...

soundcloud allows just that, my own band uses it (this is not a plug, seriously)

Thank you very much. I didn't know about this and the next thing I'll do is to go and try to find your music. If you could provide me with a link to it, that would be great.
Wether I like it or not, I'll decide AFTER I've heard it. Is that fair? (Not trying to pick on you or your band Grover, just trying to make a point).

already did give a link, check out the word "ours" up there ^^^ subtlety is my middle name... but its not really :P

 My middle name is "Thick", I guess that's one of the reasons I didn't see the blue underlined text in your previous msg.

Thank you very much! I went through the first two tracks: "Nothing changes in mexico" and "The same but different". I found them very nice.

If Gorkyporky had a link to a page in facebook that FIRST allowed me to hear their songs and THEN allowed me to decide if I like them or not, it would be great!

"The same but different" is our newest one
"nothing changes in mexico" is our oldest one (we just re-added it now coz nick lost the file

my favourite to listen to is "The Geek"
and the best to play (drums) has gotta be "New place"

i love my band :D sorry to steal the thread a little Gorky

well you can listen to our music here:

the link was actually provided underneath the picture.

As for my low post number, I mostly lurk around the forums, since dont really need to post, because all my questions tend to be answered by someone else.

Thanks anyway guys.

Gorkyporky does have a low post count, but he's been with us since the first year this forum was setup, being the 31st member to register. :tiphat:

unless it's a very patient spambot, i'd say he's ok :P nice music, i wont sign up for facebook to like it though :( perhaps a twitter account? :P
