This addon simulates an asteroid debris field orbiting the planet Mars.
The asteroid was made by Paul George and can be found on the Celestia Motherlode site.
The asteroid textures, author unknown, were also from the Celestia Motherlode site.

The XR-2 is used in the scenarios, but any ship can be substituted.
The Mars Asteroid Debris Field Addon is flexible, in that you can add or subtract asteroid "ships" to match your needs and OS.
Obviously, higher end computers will be able to handle more ships, which will result in
a larger debris field.
I'm not that versed in the use of docking ports and attachment points, however, I tried to
set up the first five scenarios. Someone with more knowledge can probably do a better job, so please feel free to do so, but please share it with the rest of the Orbiter community.
I have found, that because of the size of the asteroid ships and the common invisible attachment ship, you have to work with the RPOS and AROT numbers to get a more
diverse spread of the asteroid fragments.
I set the whole addon up in an easy to understand manner so that newbys, such as myself, would be able to use it.
The first five asteroid ships need to be added to the configuration file in Orbiter in order for the scenarios to work.
If you want to add more, just add the corresponding number of asteroid ships, and work off of the preceeding scenario.
Remember to adjust the positional numbers for each "ship" in order to get the desired effect.
There are 17 attachment points to work with, just use a vacant a.p. to add the next asteroid ship
**Known bugs:It sometimes takes a little while for the ships to populate the screen, so remember to take in to account your O.S. to avoid excessively slow frame rates.
