Though they are no longer flying, the Shuttle Fleet will be with us as long as mankind is sending humans into space. Relics of it still survive, such as EMUs used on the ISS. The next US space vehicle, whatever it may be, will almost definitely use technology made possible by the Shuttle.

The entire Internet culture summarised in a single sentence:

"No, I can't let other people enjoy things I hate!"

A day at Disneyland: Six hours of lines, ten minutes of excitement.

That's the figures, but the feelings are that they were about equal in duration.

I wonder if anybody else knows exactly where that image comes from. :shifty:
The most emotionally scarring TV show since Ren and Stimpy.

Edit: O-F, you baffle me sometimes:

Of course the thread works fine now. No prescient replies here (as the timestamps show.) Is it normal for posts to be rearranged...?

I couldn't choose a wallpaper for my PC, so instead I chose 20...
I have 1 one Yuki Nagato (The anime character in my avatar), 6 Code Geass wallpapers (1 of C.C, 1 of Lelouch, 2 of Kallen, 1 of Euphie and 1 of Lelouch and Shirley), 2 Ace Attorney wallpapers (1 showing all the characters in the first three games and one of Edgeworth and his office in AAI), 2 Deadman Wonderland wallpapers, 3 Final Fantasy XIII wallpapers (1 of Snow, 1 of Lightning and 1 of Vanille), 2 Death Note wallpapers (1 of Light and 1 of Misa), 3 Rozen Maiden wallpapers (1 of Suiginto, 1 of the twins (Watch the series :P) and 1 of Shinku, Hina and Kanaria) and finally (I think) 1 K-On! wallpaper of Yui.

I think I'll keep everyone updated on my wallpapers, just to see who snaps first.

PS: If you read all of that... good for you...

I'll just leave this quote here:

"We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die because they are never going to be born. The potential people who could have been here in my place but who will in fact never see the light of day outnumber the sand grains of Arabia. Certainly those unborn ghosts include greater poets than Keats, scientists greater than Newton. We know this because the set of possible people allowed by our DNA so massively exceeds the set of actual people. In the teeth of these stupefying odds it is you and I, in our ordinariness, that are here." -Richard Dawkins

How many dwarves inhabit the dwarf planets of our System?

:censored:, the Australian Classification Board has no consistency whatsoever.
They did this to L4D2.

And they did absolutely nothing to Dead Island.

Not that I'm complaining about Dead Island being released, on the contrary, I'm ecstatic that this isn't banned, but our ratings board really needs to get it's :censored: together.

Edit: And may I point out this little bit of info about Dead Island?
The zombies have fully-modelled layers of meat and muscle rendered onto their bodies, meaning they have a multi-layered damage system with real-time injuries.

Today is NASA's 53rd anniversary.Didnt know this until I saw the this day in history thing at the bottom of the page.

Texting while in a mob is distracted rampaging and can lead to an accident.

I just think I'll leave this here and see what people do.

I know the web has no sense for decensy, but seeing an article to the Oslo shootings next to an advertisement for the mirror-image training on the homepage of my email-provider is kinda hard to beat in that respect...

I'm not that big a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow, but after just now seeing "Iron Man", she looks really good as a red-head.
