I would assume it is 20x 4min exposures, [edit:] but I'd like to know for sure.

And, if I'm not mistaken, the gif is being animated in reverse (edit: confirmed). OP said they are at 63ºN latitude, so the equator is towards the South. The stars should be moving from left to right.
