I'd guess it's reflected light from the shuttle itself, or maybe from the ISS.

Diffuse reflections from the shuttle itself. The sun is above the ISS during the RPM so not much would be reflected from the ISS and moon shine would be much dimmer relative to the shuttle body.

Its a HOAX!! The shadows are NOT black ( even though hoax nutters say otherwise that it should be like this ...damn .. I am so confused ) .. and NO STARS ..
