My fellow forum members, I'm entering a period when I can't devote as much time for Internet activities as usual. I have to do some real work and get some real life. Because of this, at least the following events will go without comments from me:

  • July 21 07:57:43 Moscow (03:57:43 UTC) - Parus & Sterkh atop Kosmos-3M @ Plesetsk (Military + SarSat, already launched)
  • July 24 14:56:55 Moscow (10:56:55 UTC) - Progress M-67 atop Soyuz-U @ Baikonur (ISS supply run)
  • July 27 (time TBD) - Lotos-S atop Soyuz-U @ Plesetsk (Military)
  • July 29 (time TBD) - DubaiSat-1, Deimos-1, NanoSat-1B, UK DMC-2, AprizeSat-3, AprizeSat-4 atop Dnepr @ Baikonur (Clustered commercial launch)
  • August 10 (time TBD) - AsiaSat 5 atop Proton (Communications, commercial)
  • Possibly August - Korean KSLV-1 @ Naro (first Korean space LV on Russian technology)
  • Anytime - Cobalt-M (Cosmos-2550) end of mission
  • August 23-24 MAKS Air Show near Moscow (there are rumors Sukhoi will present their PAK-FA stealth fighter there; I'll attend but I won't have time to post pictures)
For information, please go to the usual places:

Thanks to everybody who followed my reports.

Thank you for the highly detailed and informative reports and translations that you provide. They open a whole world of spaceflight news to us that would otherwise be difficult to access.

I'm gonna quote Buzz Aldrin i believe it was during the Apollo press news conference when they were talking about the ISS.
''The Russians are keeping the station up and moving''

Also if any people knows what conference im talking about there egos pretty much filled the entire room when they were argueing.

@SiberianTiger: Is there a video of the Progress 34 (M-67) launch anywhere?

Thanks!

Hi everybody,

@SiberianTiger: Is there a video of the Progress 34 (M-67) launch anywhere?

Thanks!

Yes, sure, here they all are:

Rolling out,
Rocket assembly,
Spacecraft works)

UK-DMC2 and Deimos-1, seem to have gone up, anyone got any videos of the launch. I've been through the Roscosnos links above from SiberianTiger, but they are mostly in Russian.

N.

NP, here are them too:

(top to bottom:

Head assembly mounting in the silo,
Spacecraft works,
DubaiSat-1 arrival at Baikonur,
Lowering the encapsulated RS-20 missile into the silo)

Regarding the changes in the launch manifest quoted in the first message of the thread, Lotos-S' launch initially anticipated to happen on July 27 was postponed for an indefinite time because of a malfunction detected in the payload during the pre-launch checks.

Therefore, the next expected launch is August 10, @ 23:47:33 Moscow (19:47:33 UTC) - AsiaSat 5 atop Proton-M.
