two-screen laptop

Nice but the other monitor is really small, whats wrong with duel screen?

-or even quad screen :P

Nothing at all, I find one more than enough.
I like the sliding screen though, nice bit of ergonomics.

....the bars in the middle when you try to span an image. Just breaks it up and ruins it. :)

..and what if you where not breaking an image?

(Sorry the image is so wide, but this is what my screen shot looks like)
(and yes you can call me addicted :))

The only time I've ever found myself wishing for an extra screen is when playing Orbiter - for ExtMFDs and/or documentation. Otherwise, one is enough for me too.

Thats mostly how I use them. I suppose like most people I have an extra old pc and monitor, and often use it for docs when running programs. Its useful for tutorials as well.
I did once manage get a triple setup running FS/FSUIPC and get the widescreen going. First time I banked, I fell off the chair.
Decided two machines was enough after that.

N,

N,
 I had an old CRT monitor to use but I rebuilt my computer nook and it wouldn't fit any more :(

Well, it says it's majorly aimed at graphic designers, and they regularly work with two monitors. You don't have to stretch the image, you're just happy when you can have your image fullscreen and all the menus and toolbars on the other one. I think the design is perfect for that purpose, but since it's a design for specialists, it probably won't get production rates that can guarantee a reasonable price... pity.

I'm a little ticked.

Our Lenovo rep was in last week discussing product road map and gave us all the impression it was going to be a full second screen. :(

I use duel screen on several occasions,

1. When working on any homework assignment I can have the E-book on one screen and my work on the other.

2. When (if) I am running orbiter, I can have O-F on one screen and Orbiter on another, (and at the same time watching NASA TV )

Cool. I wonder how many Ext MFDs you could put on the side screen.

again, my apologies for the extra wide screen but;

I wonder how much that costs.

I can reuse my old CRT or I can use my new LCD which was ~$160

Edit; Hey Tex, I think the post condenser thing isn't working...

I was refering to the laptop and was just wondering outloud. But I understand what you mean. I just bought a laptop for around $150 so I can use MEDS Program on it (and do university work too:P).

That sidescreen would be useful for add-on developing, especially using Mesh Wizard, Anim8or, and having open folders or docs all at the same time. My Windows toolbar looks like a row of teeth I have so much s**t open.
