I'm not seeing any trainwrecks here, but maybe that's just me:Actually most come from the USA. I'm also yet to find a winner who doesn't look like a complete trainwreck. Not so good for the Russian sailors

It's clear at last that it was not a round-the-world trip all along.
The Peter the Great is back to her base in Severomorsk few days ago, having crossed three oceans and visited several ports in Europe, Americas, Africa and Asia.
The cruise's trophy consists of three pirate boats detained off the coast of Somalia.

I kinda don't think they're here so much for Chavez' benefit (although they might be) but perhaps just to show the flag around the world and put on a good show for their own people. I can't imagine that morale has been too good among most former Soviet militaries. I was eight years in Berlin and been around a lot of Russians. They DO like doing things like this, when they have the money. I'd love to be standing there in my dress uniform on the deck of a battle wagon when it comes up along a Third World country. I might even flick a booger over the rail. :lol:
