Add-on Description:
Utility MFD Spotlights - Luascript
Allows you to create and adjust spotlights (only mostly) in a live scenario.
Warning: This multifunctional display utility is liable to CTD on anything but a spotlight. It might allow you turn normal lights ON and OFF!
Installation:
Open the zip file: spotlightsMFD.zip
Copy the file: Lights.cfg to the .\Config\MFD folder
(the other files below are just needed for the .scn file to work)
Open the file .\Config\MFD\ScriptMFD.cfg In your favourite text editor.
Add the line
MFD\Lights.cfg
Save ScriptMFD.cfg Thats it.
Run Orbiter
Click the MFD <sel> button until the word 'lights' appears. Click on it.
Play - Find a dark place, turn to point at something, add a light,
Press RG0 until it lights up. The skippy.scn gets dark.
Entry page - Displays: Light position Yaw, Pitch, Intensity and Range.
Page 1 - LS1 - Light List (on the currently occupied ship only). - (Internally Page 5)
PRV - Previous light ON - Light On/Off
NXT - Next light RG0 - Up scale Range and Intensity
YP+ - Increase Yaw or Pitch Y/P - Select Yaw or Pitch Mode
YP- - Decrease Yaw or Pitch ZER - Zero Yaw and Pitch
ADD - Add a spotlight using current settings LS2 - Light List 2
DEL - Delete a Light (any) DTL - Light Detail (page 3)
The starting definite of ADD is just in front of craft pointing forwards along +z axiz.
Page 2 - LS2 - 2nd Light List Light position Yaw, Pitch - (Internally Page 1 )
PRV - Previous light ON - Light On/Off
NXT - Next light ON+ - All lights On/Off (flip)
SPS - Ships List (tracking) Page 4
