Dear all,

I am finally on a kind of routine of apollo realtime simulations.
One year ago we completed the (second) first one, Apollo 7 and now I am preparing for the challenge of Apollo 9. It had to be delayed two months, so it will liftoff on january 7th at 11:00 CET (Central European Time). I have already flown the mission twice to learn what the mission is about, and I am now practising specific tasks, like dockings, launch procedures or the rendezvous. I feel ready, but let´s see how the remainder of the preparation goes.

As with the other missions, I will use this thread to ask for questions.

I did a presentation video, based on a scene from the chapter "Spider" from "From the Earth to the Moon". Hope you like it!

Best regards,

One quick question I did on the chats, that I will ask here again so it persists here.

For 9´s tansposition and docking, what is the correct pitch rate after launch vehicle separation?

Best regards,

Best regards,
I cannot find an explicit pitch rate used for 9. 10, 11, and 12 used 1.5 deg/s, 13 and later used 0.5 deg/s with an automaneuver after about 90 degrees pitch up (when error needles became positive)

I think without an automaneuver, 1.5 deg/s should be sufficient but this is interpolated.
