Iridium 72 satellite flaring and passing in front of Jupiter.
Wide angle view over the North Sea from Oostende beach (Belgium) and telescopic close-up view of Jupiter during the transit.

I think that its the first time an Iridium flare is recorded while passing over a planet:

http://spaceweathergallery.com/indiv_upload.php?upload_id=112749[/quote]I filmed it in wide angle over the North Sea and in close-up with a telescope to show the satellites of Jupiter.
I had to drive from Paris to Belgium to catch it, but a sunny evening on a beach is always pleasant!
The transit line width was only 700m.
