Is there a problem with AMSO or this addon?
I was looking forward to this Apollo 8 addon because I wanted to do the Christmas Eve reading on Orbiter. One of the most important events in all of space exploration was the Dec 24th broadcast of the reading from the bible by the crew of Apollo 8. But when I ran it on this addon, I found that it was wrong ... I think .. let me explain.
First, they read the passage from "Genesis" as the saw the sun rise ... with this addon, they are leaving the sunlight and going behind the moon. Was the addon made at the wrong time or was it at the right time and orbiter's time closk is off. I also have noticed that most landings and EVAs seem a bit dark, but the Apollo missions were done in the light?? Is the orbiter program causing this error or am I mistaken ... when you see the mission on the moon 30 years ago, there was most definately light to record these events. Maybe it was an optical illusion??
I point this out because I am a loss for understanding .. could someone tell me why I see these minor problems. I am not unhappy and I do not want to hurt anyones feelings. Nute has done his usual FANTASTIC job with the Addon (I hope he does all the mission this way too) and Martin does not need me to point out any problems, but if I am wrong or mistaken ... why am I? Did I do something wrong with the install of running of this program or it is a small programing error, I hope I was a help:sorry:
