I use Orbiter in two ways on my 2012 MacBook Pro: on a BootCamp partition running Windows 8, and on Parallels Desktop version 8 running Windows XP.

Overall I enjoyed it. Execution was fantastic (3D wasn't overdone), excusing the technicalities that only people like us care about.

I understand the 'physical' reasons they can't de-orbit GALEX. I'm disappointed in the 'policy' reasons. Over the next 65 years or so, it will gradually sweep through every altitude from 600km to the atmosphere. There are a lot of objects in orbit in that range, all potential collisions. GALEX...
I'm disappointed that NASA won't be de-orbiting the satellite. It's in a 697km circular orbit, inclination 29 degrees. What are the odds of it surviving the next 65 years intact?
Would methane be liquified and/or compressed? Wouldn't that require a pretty strong (and weighty) tank? Would there be boil-off (if liquid) or pressure-relief? What sort of losses would occur over a several-month trip to Mars?
So many questions for the engineers among us . . .
I can't imagine. Since my own collarbone break 3 years ago, I never go out if the roads are damp or the sun is down, and seldom below 10°C. I'm really happy to hear of your recovery and determination.

I recommend viewing with the Orbit MFD, showing Earth as target so you can clearly see where the close approach is. It's pretty neat to see the inclination change rapidly just after close approach, and the other elements change, though not so drastically. I...

I didn't have any trouble understanding you. Your English is a little unusual, but most of the people who use Orbiter are used to working hard to understand something, and also willing to help others...
