ORBITER-FORUM will be temporarily closed at 2026-07-23 18:00 UTC while we complete some OF maintenance tasks. The amount of downtime is expected to take up to one hour, but probably less.
I see, thanks for the explanation!
To be honest while I often admire the direct democracy model employed by Switzerland, I can see the issue in having to vote on what is a specific technical choice like it happened years ago - obviously I and many others wouldn't be qualified to have an...
It appears that the rumors were true and that the Bundesrat will recommend the purchase of 36 F-35A aircraft, in part due to lower total cost.
I am unsure of differences to the last Swiss combat aircraft procurement attempt - what are the chances of this getting derailed again?
EDIT: not even...
Likewise - yesterday evening I was reading through the first 10 or so pages of this thread and saw exactly what you described.
I remember someone on the official forum having compiled a spreadsheet of orbital velocities requried for a (circular) orbit at a number of altitudes, and basically the...

Both the 500 and the Corsa-e have a nominal range, according to the WLTP test cycle, of approx. 330-340...
Saturday I test drove the new all-electric Fiat 500, with the larger 44-ish kWh battery pack.
It's worth noting that despite similarities in size and appearance, it's built on a completely new architecture compared to the "normal" 500.
Was very positively impressed by the interior especially...
Yesterday I've test driven a Volkswagen ID.3 - the instant kick from the electric drivetrain really can be addictive.
Anyone here already having an electric car as daily driver?
