You are welcome - and thanks for the kind words! And amazing how you got the code working without the historical sources! It is so lucky they did not use 666 :-)
...and what a great idea for food being a real consumables! Why didn't I think about it myself?! Next time, or in the next version -...
Yes, Z and X, they are standard for all Orbiter vessels... and even for outside views. You can see the current FOV (field of View) value of the "camera" in the top right corner of the screen.
They are useless even in the manned flight. Vzor replaces horizon and speed in manual mode, and Sun and Earth sensors work for automated control. And altitude and speed is completely irrelevant in orbital flight - who cares!
There were simply no good ways to get this info onboard anyway...
PKRS does not switch off for the same reason, no code. But why the 125 code does not work, eludes me! Just to be sure - you are using the keypad in the cockpit, not the computer keyboard, for typing the numbers? :-) I know it sounds ridiculous, but as I am out of evident ideas, I am now...
It should be 1-2-5. But also remember - the orientation controls have a long delay in reaction compared to the usual Orbiter spacecrafts. I know that some people had unlocked the controls but did not notice it because they did not see immediate reaction from the control keys afterward. Oh, and I...
There is already answer to the voice message question, good! Yest, this is the official Radio Moscow broadcast announcing his flight. There are no report of Gagarin actually hearing it - but he had all capabilities on board for it, and so do you.
In Russia, everyone from the older generation...
Just a bug in the mesh... did not even noticed until looked a few times.
...Maybe it was not a good idea with those easter eggs after all. While on the hunt, you are starting to find things instead that I'd rather not know about
The second one is about the elevator gantry. Very interesting and unique structure! It is not used anymore, and for some reason is completely forgotten in history. Only a tiny handful of photos exist, and a little more in videos. So we are very proud to be able to resurrect it in this project -...
OK, probably it is about time. Sorry, guys, I was cra-z-z-z-zy busy the last few days with all these celebrations happening around! Now it is becoming a little more manageable...
For starters (I think this has not been reported yet) - if you have your Short Wave radio on and with sufficient...
I just got link with more great photos from yesterday's Yuri's Night event!
The link is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/iyacalgary. I am so excited with the opportunity to promote this great Sim! Actually, I with the link I got an email encouraging to spread and re-post these photos...
Here is a picture from the demo of the Vostok addon that I ran yesterday in the Yuri's Night celebration in Rothney Astrophysical Observatory, here in Calgary, to a very attentive and well-responding audience:
More photos from the event here...
I might spill some... but just a little later. Just too busy right now - I'll be demoing this addon in the Yuri's Night event, lot of fun, but takes a while to get ready...
