Hey guys,
Having one extra day off last Monday due to Bank holiday was good for overall progress of the sim :)
Progress report 2024-W18:
1) Both 10'' AMFDs are finished both electrically and mechanically at 95% - I'm waiting for PCBs to arrive from China and 2x JST connectors to complete those...
Here are couple of screenshots of the controller. 75% I stated above was wishful thinking lol Real progress is about 50-60 percent or thereabouts. Haven't touched the model for couple of years for sure...
Not yet, but I do plan to build it. The CAD model is 75% ready (I'll post a snapshot when get back home). I've decided to finish those instruments first before undertaking any next endeavours haha
Morning all,
Progress report 2024-W17:
90% of internal AMFD wiring for both units are finished. Main cannon connector is universal between all three MFDs, thus the same test harness can be used.
Power supply boards are 95% finished (flux cleaning req'ed) and mounted on corresponding back...
Hey guys,
I started thinking of writing weekly progress reports, even if there not so much to say about 😊 This will keep me on track + give you updates and some WIP shots.
Here we go.
Progress report 2024-W16:
Fuel indicator 4x function buttons are done. Actuation force is 8-10N, travel...
Hey guys,
Just a brief update on what’s going on with the sim.
I’ve been still on it but moving very slowly; amount of overall work is insane! Haha
Due to complexity of the project and organization proposes I had to come up with numbering system for parts, assemblies, sub-assemblies...
Hey guys,
Just curious, is it possible to make a g-seat working with Orbiter?
Have some ambitious ideas using that one in my sim pit (which is still being build btw, very slooowly though, updates to follow):
https://bergisons.simpit.info/motion-integrated-g-seat
Theoretically all accelerations...
Haha! Thanks! :hailprobe: Yep, first picture shows ithe first iteration of the poster, later I've re-ploted it with better quality and put it in proper A2 frame (can be seen on the 2nd pic in shadows :D) :)
Hey guys!
I've been designing my sim-pit for a while and came across these 2 documents - blueprints of common control stick and throttle grips - quite interesting reference material for sure.
