I think the Map MFD is a 2016 thing. I tried to do the same but it would not change from the default. If you find a way please let me know.

My thanks to dgatsoulis. He provided my missing detail. I now have my Space Elevator at the location of Sheffield from Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy. In Orbiter 2016. Now to finish my interpretation of the rest of the base.

Never were. Current report from spaceweather.com is that the CME strike on Earth was much weaker than expected.

Just an update. When you install the DGIV into orbiter, go to the Textures directory, select the DG directory and you will find a file called dgpilot1.dds. You can modify this as you wish (I used my face and my grandson's face). Resave the modified image as dgpilot1.dds.

IIRC Dansteph's DGIV has a modifiable astronaut skin.

IIRC the original author did not have permission to distribute several of the files in Multi-Base1. He has not been around in some time so it is unlikely that the situation will be corrected. Also unlikely that even if someone still had the old files that they would forward a copy.

Ask Dan directly. Perhaps he will send you a copy or ask him to give me permission and I will send it.

It's a good question actually. Is it possible that a gyroscope is on the craft that rotated to align itself to Mar's rotation and alignment when it landed?

Following this thread I am a bit confused as to which is the latest update. Thread mentions 4.17 and 4.18 but the project site seems to have only up to 4.11. What is the current release and where is it, please?
