So for vulkan port currently supports the same ANSI 0-255 character set as D3D9's primary bitmap
font path (covers Western European languages). The WCHAR/Unicode fallback path that D3D9 has via ID3DXFont is not yet
ported - that would need something like FreeType or a similar library in...
Appreciate, im no graphic expert so i would love this thread to be more enganging with this kind of stuff/facts. im doing this out of passion and learning about graphics stuff as the work gooes on.
