    That would be a lot of configuration work for that "edge case" alone... I'm not saying I'll never do it, but I think it is a better investment to spend time developing the configuration for the GAS canisters. For now, that SpaceLab bridge can be "cheated" in to place by having the tunnel only...

    You could edit the terrain to make a depression where the pad is, and that would be covered by the pad surface and a flat mesh that blends the pad surface to the surrounding terrain. For an example, look at how SLC-6 is in SSV.
