Hey this way cool to see this come to life . NASA worked on this as a follow up to the Saturn 5 It was planned for the " First Lunar Outpost" project it was being designed to fly a Moon direct mission
I hate to say it but your right. Space X has made great strides but still a long way to go with Moonship and landing a 7 story building in a rock pile not the smartest idea . Team USA was too tall as well and cost way too much but you could see the space tug to get it there and MK 2 will need...
the pictures show 2 PMA's on hab one then it would be moved before Hab 2 gets there so you might think about using 1 on each because looks like it would be easier here to deal with
the picture looks like it would be launched like that one of the PMA's on Hab 1 would be stored at docking spot 6 on hab 1 the the hab 2 captured with the RMS and berthed to Hab 1 then the RMS would move the stored PMA to Hab 2
the plan is to load some of the racks inside the PPTM from the ISS so I wonder if they plan to walk the SSRMS off the ISS to the PPTM before it undocks
I think the way the panels were stowed against the sides seem the best you might look at the longer fairing for the 2 habs
Something else to look at is a new MFD map as the one VAST uses
