I know, an oldie but a goodie. Written for 2005, I believe, but Kulch has not updated it for 2016 as yet. Has any one managed to adapt it for use in 2016? And if so what changes are required?
Just an update. When you install the DGIV into orbiter, go to the Textures directory, select the DG directory and you will find a file called dgpilot1.dds. You can modify this as you wish (I used my face and my grandson's face). Resave the modified image as dgpilot1.dds.
Normally, the standard Map MFD is just fine for me. However, I started experimenting and decided to try to use upgraded imagery in the Map MFD. I downloaded and installed the Hi-res Map images (for Mars in this case). When I go back to check the Map MFD in the program, there is no change. Just...
I don't expect empty flash coming from ESA. However, being European born I would like to see hope, dreams and success coming from European exploration. I think we have all seen nations rise to the top of science and engineering, only to fall from sight. There was a time that the Middle East led...

It's a good question actually. Is it possible that a gyroscope is on the craft that rotated to align itself to Mar's rotation and alignment when it landed?
Following this thread I am a bit confused as to which is the latest update. Thread mentions 4.17 and 4.18 but the project site seems to have only up to 4.11. What is the current release and where is it, please?
I have noticed on recent images of the Spacex Dragon capsule that they have been painting a blue ISS icon beside the door for each visit of the capsule to the ISS. I have been unable to locate a decent image of the icon alone to use on capsule liveries. Can anyone point me in the right...
No. 2.91 has all the latest bug fixes and bells and whistles. Some experimental features may be added. 2.83 will be maintained at a constant level. Bug fixes will be made as they occur and are fixed but not all of the latest features are added. 2.83 is a solid commercially usable product.
That...
