Page could not be loaded on every hyperlink

For a good month now I've been getting the error message below every time I click on a link in the forum. CTRL+R doesn't resolve the issue, CTRL+SHIFT+R does, but as soon as I go somewhere else in the forum the same thing happens again. I'm running NoScript with everything disabled, the site works besides the repeated error messages. Turning JS on for the site resolves the issue, but I'd rather not do that. Adblocker (UBo) is active but the behavior is the the same on or off.

Hi! I'm not sure what I can do for you here.

The forum is powered by an off-the-shelf product called Xenforo, which we don't develop ourselves. It sounds like disabling JavaScript entirely just flat out breaks some functionality of the software, which is honestly not a big surprise. I don't believe we have much wiggle room to offer you a version of the forum that works entirely without JS enabled, though, unfortunately?
