My version of Orbiter 2016 chokes on this addon. Orbiter.log says that StarTrek_Sol.cfg (I missed it as log reset for something else). Does anyone have this file or similar for the StarFleet Academy Trainer? Re ran it. The file I seek is .\Config\Sol_Trel.cfg.

Where is the link to this release package, please? Also, which version of Orbiter is the starfleet trainer intended to use? The vessel does not show up in my version of Orbiter 2024.

I am modelling a vessel in Blender. This vessel will have an airlock and I intend to animate the airlock doors (translation fore and aft) and use Vinka's Spacecraft when I have transferred the model to Orbiter (using Blake's tools). How do I setup and name the animation mesh groups to correctly...

There is an importing addon for LWO/LWO2 files. This is for Blender 3.3 to 4.5. LWO3 is not supported. I note that it is recommended that files be exported from Lightwave as fbx files and then converted or as obj files and then converted.

Installation of addon indicates version 2.3 is installed. No other particular message here. When import selection is attempted, message is "unknown operator encountered". Blender system console indicates quite a bit of information but I am unable to copy it. Too much information to show on one...

A quick update on my testing of the Orbiter Mesh Tools addon. With the latest release I note that the Import selection is greyed out and not active in Blender 5.1.1 but it is available and not greyed out in Blender 4.5.9 and 5.0.1

You can. Select File > Import > Orbiter Mesh Import (.msh)

Though I can't be specific, I had noticed some difficulties when using 5.1.1, so I went back to 4.2.20. Just a heads up but Blender 5.2 will be released in July and it will an LTS release.
