I don't know how many of you guys have flown before, but I'd love to see what passenger aircraft (I've decided to include private aircraft too) you guys like.

First my vote:

I've flown many times. So much so that (to me) a wide-body is a wide-body.

I agree with TMac, the Concorde was such a pretty little thing to see. Saw those many time at Washington/Dulles.

For private/charter aviation, I'm really in love with the Starship, she's pretty.

Totally agree about the Starship. For "Queen of the Skies", I nominate the Lockheed Constellation (although I have never flown in one)

I did love flying in an L-1011 (a long time ago)

Boeing 737 and Cessna 172. Had great flights with both of them. The Dash 8 is also quite great.

BTW, wikipedia images also have smaller versions.
It was a pain to load this thread with that huge 747 :p.

Maybe we could derail it slightly into 'Favourite Aircraft'?

It doesn't get any better than that.

Mine is either the 737-800 or the 757-400. Flown on both and they are awesome.

I had the opportunity to buy an EZ a few years a go, but it was not air worthy at the time.

A truly beautiful aircraft, its a pitty that it was built at the outbreak of WW2

Since I have never flown at all, my favorite airliner is:

I've only flown a couple times, and I can't even remember what I flew on. Too young to have ever flown on one of these, but I think they are so ridiculously gorgeous: the De Havilland Comet 4. And I also love the Dan-Air livery. About 90% of my flights in FSX are on one of these.

The Queen of the Skies is the 747. Period.

but to the topic, my favorite aircraft is probably the 777. However the 767 still holds a special place in my heart.

For non-wide body aircraft, the 737.

For private, the G650 is a pretty epic aircraft.

Concord never did it for me. Steam gauges....nah.

The Dreamliner is a beautiful aircraft. Once that thing gets the kinks ironed out, that may become my new favorite.

Should I say something? You can see the 747 Boeing Dreamlifter in the parking area...

I've only ever flown on the B737, A320 and A340. They were about the same level of cramped and noisy, so no clear preference here.

I'm a fan of the Tu-154. The klunky "adequacy" of Soviet aerospace appeals to me and the Tu-154 speaks brilliantly along those lines in ways its contemporary 727 doesn't.
