Greetings Fellow Space Primates!
I have updated my checklist for getting from Earth to Mars with TransX. I have now added steps for a much more accurate insertion at encounter.
Perhaps a bit behind the curve since there are several excellent video tutorials out there and the new Orbiter version looms threatening to make it obsolete. But here it is, none the less:

Should still be helpful to those that need a bit more detail than they can grab in the fairly fast paced video tutorials.
As you'll be able to tell, I'm an armchair orbinaut. I sort of know the hows and a few of the whys but mostly I'm a guy who pieced together a bunch of procedures that get me where I want to go.
This checklist can also be used for any target with an orbit outside earths. So those of you with your eyes on the gas giants and beyond can follow the same procedures.
I've been hammering away at this over the past week. If anybody downloaded between 4 jan and today, you may want to go grab this latest version.
