Hello :)

The REALISM variable is used to specify the extent of the DSKY interaction the user wishes.
If REALISM is set to zero, it is only necessary to start a program (i.e. V37N63E) and everything is automatic.

The question is:
Where can I find this varable?

Regards ;)

I think you've stumbled upon some legacy documentation. This variable was used back when we had quickstart mode and AGC++.

Current versions of NASSP use the virtualagc emulator exclusively, which may be a bit harder, but we have good tools and documentation.

If you need help, dont be afraid to ask here, or on discord or irc.

As @n72.75 said REALISM has been removed along with things like quickstart mode and SimpleAGC. The decision for this was made some years ago to put all our effort into making NASSP as realistic as possible. Maintaining an "easy" mode in parallel would take up too much time and is already provided by other addons like AMSO.

There may still be mentions of this floating around the forum and our wiki but these are outdated.
