That's right. The biggest and baddest VSA is right here. Right in front of us and we don't even know it! It is the Orbiter Community itself.

Pilots doing missions every day.
Test pilots blowing up ships constantly.
Engineers designing new ships.
Architects designing new bases.
Electronics research for instrumentation and new MFD.
Instructors and tutorial publishers.
News crews, reporters & photographers documenting missions in the screenshots sub-forum.
A head honcho at the top.
Graphics artists.
A gift shop.
A police force in the form of forum moderation.
Philosophers and visionaries asking for new features and critiquing add-on development.
Our own advertising agency in the form of web page developers peddling add-ons.
Repository and showroom for new equipment.
A meeting and introduction lounge.
Technical support & helpdesk.
An astrophysics and astronomical department.
Liaisons to other like-minded communities.
Members world wide, some are SolarSystem-wide at this instant.
A rich history going back more than 12 years.

Feel free to add your own, I'm sure there's many more functions which take place here - I'm just not seeing them at this very moment.

But really, can you think of a more complete VSA than that? And it's right here. It's always been here. We use it every week and don't even think twice we are doing so. Fantastic!

But the majority is due to VSAs being useless to frequent and passionate Orbiter users. In fact, we already have a huge VSA of sorts: the Orbiter community itself. Here we have administrators, trajectory specialists, engineers, pilots, PR agents... heck, even some kind of nitpicker committee.

And no, I didn't have Urwumpe in mind for that last "feature" .

well, the last two community VSA type projects were unsuccessful. One was a total disaster.

So yes, O-F is the baddest VSA ever. By far the worst.
