Discussion Select vessel in extended mfd

Hello, i am here to ask you if is possible to modify ExtendedMFD that comes with Orbiter, so you can select any vessel while you are in another vessel.

What i really want is control a ship (or the mfd's) from a control center or something like that.

Is like vMC, but it dont work in orbiter 2010 and i think it work only with the selected vessel.

So you are the experts in those matters. I hope you can give me some clues about how to do this or much better if someone could to this.

I assume you mean External MFD?

If so, yes you can, without modification. Select the vessel you want the MFD focused on, and then click on the picture of a pin on its window. That will pin it to that vessel, regardless of what other vessel you select afterward.

Yes, that is, external mfd. And i didn't know that. Thank you. That was easy.

I have not try, but i think imfd will work and share data even if i change the vessel. I'll test it.
