I got a rather short question: What is the source of the gamma-rays in the Landing Altitmeter "Kaktus-2V" in the Soyuz capsule? A cathode tube or an Element? Cobalt-60 probably?
Now I got another question about what could be seen on the engineering camera during the ISS photography:
On this picture, in the top right quadrant, you can see the word Разворот, which Google translates to "turn".
Here, the same line says ВКЛ ДПО which is VKL DPO. Vertical DPO maybe? As the DPO is a set of engines on the Soyuz, does the line in the "HUD" maybe show if the RCS is in Rotational or Translational mode?
For the VKL DPO thing, I read somewhere that it shows that the DPO maneuvering engines are on.
When it shows "+Y", that means the engines on the top of the ship are on, so it'll move in "-Y" direction (Stands somewhere on a russian spaceflight forum).
