As you will undoubtedly know, there is an ongoing conflict in Ukraine at the moment.
While we are primarily a Space Flight forum, and our discussions are Orbiter-based, we do have an off-topic section and discussion of other topics is welcome; however, discussion of topics like this has historically gone poorly, as tensions tend to run extremely high when international (and sometimes national) politics are involved.
That said, there is an ongoing discussion on the situation within our Basement section, which is an area where users are free to discuss politics. This is an opt-in section of the board, and while the rules do still apply here, they are enforced much more loosely than on the board itself. See more information and instructions for opting in to the Basement in this thread.
If you are opted in to the Basement, you will be able to see the discussion in this Basement thread. Please try to keep this the primary conversation about the situation to avoid having multiple conversations about the same thing.
