Recently, i was tasked with landing on slf 33 with the atlantis shuttle during nighttime, and i was wondering how to replicate that situation on my own. I am using orbiter 2010 and have looked through the scenario editor and a few add ons and have found nothing so far.

There are several ways to get this situation.

Generally, if you launch from KSC (let's say) due north during the night, then you will pass northwards over KSC during the night. Therefore, you will have a nightlanding if you engage a landing during a northwards pass. The same goes for launching south, of course.

If already in orbit, you can use the scenario editor. Press Date, and there change the Vessel State Propagation->Orbital to "Maintain fixed surface position". Then change the time of the day until you see you pass over KSC during the night.
