This is a Res 7 set of clouds for the planet Mars. Adds feathery thin clouds to your Martian sky. Based on the work of Don Edwards.

Martian Clouds V works in Orbiter 2010...but don't use the included Mars.cfg

Instead, add these lines to the existing Mars.cfg

; === Cloud parameters ===
CloudAlt = 15e3 ; altitude of cloud layer
CloudRotPeriod = 0.722e5
CloudShadowDepth = 0.7
CloudMicrotextureAlt = 30e3 240e3

The DEW Line also works as per normal install.

Also...in some previous versions of Orbiter, the Martian sky had a blue haze near the horizon. If you'd like to have that back (or just to experiment) you can copy and paste these lines to replace the Martian atmosphere section of the Mars.cfg

; === Atmospheric Parameters ===
AtmPressure0 = 0.61e3 ; pressure at zero altitude [Pa]
AtmDensity0 = 0.02 ; density at zero altitude [kg/m^3]
AtmGasConstant = 188.92 ; specific gas constant [J/(K kg)]
AtmGamma = 1.2941 ; specific heat ratio c_p/c_v
AtmAltLimit = 230e3 ; cutoff altitude
AtmColor0 = 0.65 0.52 0.40
AtmHazeColor = 0.19 0.18 0.21
AtmHazeDensity = 1.1
AtmHazeExtent = 0.57

Thanks...I'm not sure why Mars doesn't have its blue haze in the 2010 version. Apparently, the colour of the Martian sky varies greatly depending on the amount of dust and water vapor present. So having an all dusty red sky isn't 'wrong'. If Mars was having an 'dust free day' the sky would be all blue (somewhat darker than Earth's).
